ABOUT ETTALONG BEACH
A quiet coastal peninsula town, Ettalong Beach is a beautiful and relaxing beachside destination ideal for anyone looking to get out of town, listen to the rolling waves and let go for a peaceful day or two. Situated near Umina and Woy Woy on the NSW Central Coast, our easy-going community offers big, golden, pristine beaches, sparkling waterways and plenty of access to surrounding bush and National Parks. It is perfect for the weekend travellers looking to escape the confines of the city and you'll feel a million miles away just 80km north of Sydney.
Considered the premier accommodation in Ettalong Beach, The Tantra Suites at Ettalong Beach Resort is located right by the ocean and is designed for complete comfort and relaxation, with many scenic views of the hinterland, Ettalong township and local peninsula. Those looking for lasting stress relief can acquaint themselves with the gorgeous Day Spa and Health Club owned by Advanced Beauty Therapy. Now if the weather's nice, making the most of the huge outdoor pool and whirlpool spa overlooking Brisbane Water National Park and Broken Bay, is certainly worth your while and very much a key feature of the Resort.
Did you know? The Ettalong Beach Resort (formerly operated by Outrigger,
a hotel chain and management company based in Honolulu, Hawaii) and
Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club, was completed back in only 2005.
Major Upgrade - The Ettalong Beach Foreshore Reserve was completed in early 2014 by Gosford City Council at a total cost of almost $5.4M including Federal funds of $2M. The works were a culmination of 15 years of lobbying by the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce for the upgrading of the foreshore and renourishment of Ettalong Beach. The upgraded foreshore includes children's play areas, barbecue facilities, cycle ways, landscaping and café / restaurant overlooking the beach area. The cycle way links Ettalong Beach with Umina Beach.
